Hamit Utush

Hamit has established, nurtured, and grown winning relationships in the banking world since 2006. As a former banker, he is analytical and purposeful with a keen eye for strategy.

Before co-founding Sterling Capital Partners, Hamit earned his undergraduate and MBA at Saint Mary’s College of California, has been a licensed real estate broker since 2005, and worked across his career as a senior banker at Wells Fargo, Rabobank, and Mechanics Bank, among others to name a few. Hamit leveraged his specialized experience in commercial real estate, value creation, and banking to simultaneously manage multi-million dollar portfolios with the Bank’s top-tier/high net-worth clients to consistently drive and increase bank profitability.

Hamit is the proud father of six children and a fluent Spanish speaker. As a bilingual, minority CEO, he is passionate about transforming the market with new levels of transparency through his experiences as seasoned banker, broker, and finance professional. Hamit is also currently pursuing the distinguished Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation.

Candice Utush

Candice brings clarity, precision, and insight to every project, putting her accounting, finance, and specialized real estate experience to identify and solve a company’s strategic and tactical gaps. Candice has successfully managed and grown multi-million dollar portfolios for commercial real estate and middle-to-large revenue companies as a seasoned commercial banker working for Wells Fargo, Comerica, and Lockheed Martin. In 2014, she left her corporate position as a senior level banker. Instead, she found her leadership purpose as a top finance/strategy consultant and has helped her clients improve business outcomes with strategic efficiency.

Candice is the Co-Founder and CEO of Sterling Capital Partners, and she provides a rare, valuable perspective in a market that traditionally lacks diversity. Candice earned her undergraduate in Accounting with Honors as well as her Master’s in Accounting (MSA) from the University of Central Florida (UCF).

Outside of work, Candice enjoys fitness, investing, and spending time with her six beautiful children.

Rashid Utush

Rashid knows how to strategize, manage a team, create and implement the most efficient business strategies. As a former professional soccer player, Rashid played in Holland, Germany, and Austria. Now, he is a pillar of our local community and the leader of a competitive youth soccer program. He leads Sterling Capital Partners with the same focus, empathy, and integrity as he exhibits on the field both as a player and a technical director.

His previous roles as a finance specialist and a financial auditor gave him hands-on experience to best serve our clients. Rashid is a passionate investor and dedicated member of our minority-driven team.
